Azurite rosettes have been mined here for many years and are now a collector item. They are no longer being actively mined because the zone diappeared and the area became unsafe to continue mining. The rosettes that are being collected now are mostly from tailing piles and are rarely found without some damage. They are now available mostly in sizes below 2".
